Denplan Essentials and Care Plans

Preventive dentistry is based on establishing and maintaining a good oral health care routine to help stop problems before they start. There are a number of things you can do on a daily basis to help with this, including making healthy choices for your teeth and gums when you eat and drink.  Another is establishing a regular and effective hygiene routine with proper brushing, use of interdental brushes and/or floss and mouthwash. However tooth decay , oral disease and gum disease need to be detected early for the best prognosis and less invasive treatment so a regular visit to a dentist you trust is essential.

Denplan has various levels of entry depending on whether normally you have good oral condition and rarely need treatment to more extreme cases of always needing something. Obviously there are lots of levels in between.

Denplan Essentials

New patients to the practice will be invited to join Denplan Essentials. Our normal, most used level of entry is £16.00 per month which is a daily cost of 52p! This provides 2 check ups and 2 regular scales and polishes per year plus diagnostic radiographs when deemed necessary plus emergency cover for out of hours attendance and 20% discounted price on the normal private fees for any further treatment as needed.

There is an even cheaper option aimed at patients who want to be registered with their regular dentist but rarely need treatment and just want a yearly check up and scale and polish at £8 per month ( 25p per day ) which also includes emergency cover and 20% off treatment.

if the patient seems to need more treatment more regularly then they are better looked after - it actually works out more economical - to be assessed by their appointed dentist ,when dentally fit, and put into one of the 4 available categories on Denplan Care.

Denplan Care
This level of treatment and care is aptly named as it covers everything one should need to have a very good level of care and attention. It is peace of mind to know that all your dental needs are covered, except laboratory fees. Your dentist will have a look at your previous level of care, assess your potential needs and put you into a certain level category. They vary from £23 per month ( 75p per day ) to £43 per month ( £1.35 per day ) and this covers everything except whitening and facial aesthetics, implants or orthodontic treatment (straightening teeth ). We like to work this way as we know patients are well cared for and happy with this service.
